NIFT PATNA Latest Updates
NIFT Application Form 2025 - NTA is expected to release the application form for NIFT 2025 soon. The application will be released online at https://exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT.
The application form for NIFT 2025 will be uniform for all the courses, namely B.Des, M.Des, and B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, and M.F.M. Applicants are given the option to select their choice of study program in the form itself. The detailed admission schedule for NIFT 2025 will accompany the application form to be published by the NTA.
NTA will release the application form for NIFT 2025 soon. The exam is scheduled for Feb 2025. The form is for B.Des, M.Des, B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, M.F.M programs.
About NIFT PATNA
NIFT Patna is a government-run institute founded in 2008. NIFT Patna was originally housed in Udyog Bhavan, Gandhi Maidan, until moving to its own permanent campus in Mithapur Farms in 2014. India Today 2021 placed the institute 5th for Fashion Design, 4th for Fashion Design in 2020, and 6th for Fashion Design by The Week 2020.
NIFT currently has 18 campuses around India, including NIFT Delhi, NIFT Bengaluru, NIFT Chennai, NIFT Gandhinagar, NIFT Hyderabad, and NIFT Kolkata. The NIFT entrance exam, a national-level entrance examination, is used to determine admission. NIFT PATNA Scholarships
Student development is a top element in the institute's financial strategy. Every year, a significant amount of money from the NIFT Development Fund is put to good use in this core area. The institute's Means-cum-Merit Financial Assistance plan allows students from low-income families to receive reduced tuition at all NIFT campuses in order to maximize their potential. Students might be placed in one of three monetary aid slabs based on their parent’s income. This program has helped many students in the past. NIFT Patna Application Process 2024
NIFT Patna admission includes GDPI (Group Discussion and Personal Interview) for admission to master's degree programs. The final result will be weighted at 20% for the Situation Test, 50% for the CAT, and 30% for the GAT for admission to B.Des. Candidates will be shortlisted for NIFT counselling and seat allocation using the final merit list.
Candidates for undergraduate and certificate programs must have completed 10+2.
A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is the minimum qualification for a postgraduate course.
Candidates for the B.Des. program must be at least 23 years old. The PG course has no age restrictions.
For the B.Des. program, candidates from SC/ST/PWD are offered a 5% age relaxation.
The NIFT Patna entrance exam is used to determine admission to all courses.
Candidates must pass a written test that includes the Creative Ability Test (CAT) and the General Ability Test (GAT).
NIFT Patna Application Fees

Design for Fashion
